Our
Education Program provides free web hosting for educational
purposes to all public schools in the U.K.
Educating our youth is extremely important and donating
web space to schools is a small contribution that could
potentially make a big impact on students, teachers, parents
and Parent Teacher Associations across the country.
We
welcome any district administrator, school principal, classroom
teacher or another representative to participate in this
unique program!
Schools
and districts can take advantage of our free web hosting
to create websites that serve a variety of purposes, including:
* Increasing visibility for
the school within its own community and beyond
* Facilitating communication
between teachers and parents
* Sharing information between
schools within a district or classrooms within a school
* Providing valuable information
about daily schedules and events
* Serving as a bulletin board
for homework assignments and class projects
As
part of the program, ANOC will provide FREE unlimited phone
and email support, unlimited email addresses and FTP accounts,
100 MB storage, and 5 GB data transfer for each new account.
There
is no restriction on the use of the account opened in conjunction
with this program, provided it is opened by a public school
official and is used for educational purposes. Private schools,
colleges, churches, non-profit organizations, day cares
and public schools outside of the United Kingdom are NOT
eligible to participate.
